Tour Details:

We started the Tour visit to Sintra passing by the Queluz National Palace where we stopped for a photo shoot.

Then we go to the historical center of Sintra where you can see the beautiful old streets and take pictures of the National Palace of Sintra.

Then we’ll continue to Pena Palace, the most extravagant palace built on a rock at 500 meters Altitude dominating the whole coast to Lisbon. This building is a mixture of Moorish and Manueline, architecture.

Then we go to visit the Cabo da Roca, “where the land ends and sea begins”. Mastering the turbulent waters to 140 meters high they hit loudly against the rocks. It offers a beautiful view of the wild coastline.

We will pass through Boca do Inferno (mouth of hell), an opening on a cliff where the waves hit strongly and where the sound of the roar reminds the devil's voice.

Finally a visit to Cascais a famous and well preserved fishing village.

Return to Lisbon along the coast, passing by Estoril admiring the beautiful coastline and its beaches.

Full Day Sintra Tour

Fátima is one of the largest sanctuaries in the world, with more than 5 million visitors each year. The largest pilgrimage occurs on the 12 and 13th May and in October. This Modern church of the Sanctuary was built in 2007; it is 125 meters in diameter. A very important spot to visit is the house of the shepherd to whom the Virgin Mary appeared.

Program Tour to Fátima Batalha Alcobaça Nazaré and Óbidos

When we arrive at Fátima, we’ll visit a place of religious articles where you can buy products to get blessed at the sanctuary. Visit the Sanctuary where the Virgin appeared to leave 3 messages to the small shepherd: The end of the First World War, the end of communism and the attack on Pope John Paul the second.

After the sanctuary we’ll continue our visit to the Monastery of Batalha, classified by the UNESCO as world heritage. Built by King John I of Portugal to thank the Virgin Mary for the battle of Aljubarrota against the Spanish troops on 14th of August 1385, it is considered World Heritage by the UNESCO.

We continue to the Monastery of Alcobaça. UNESCO heritage in Portugal, founded in 1178 by the Cistercian Order, pursuant to the vote of donation made ​​by D. Afonso Henriques. Where are buried D. Pedro and Inês de Castro who lived a Love Story with a tragic end.

Visit Nazaré, it has a wonderful beach; its fisherman houses and amazing cliffs over the Atlantic Ocean. Visit the top of the cliff where the famous Nazaré legend occurred.

We’ll continue our visit to the village of Óbidos; it has an important historical heritage, amazing churches and its castle walls that surround the village.

Full Day Fátima, Batalha, Alcobaça Nazaré and Óbidos

You can choose between a beautiful and luxurious Catamaran with a capacity until 23 people, and a fantastic 10 meters sailing boat with maximum capacity of 12 people. After you have to choose the duration of your experience:

The 2 hours ride it’s enough to sail between Belem and the Alfama districts. During this ride it’s possible to spot several monuments such as the Belem Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, the Maat Museum, The 25th April Bridge, Commerce Square, and the National Pantheon.

If you choose the half a day ride (4 hours) you will add a sailing route until the Oeiras district where during the summer you can dive and swim.

In the full day experience (8 hours) you will have time to sail until the beautiful Cascais bay, where you´ll have the opportunity to dive in the super clean and intense blue water of the Atlantic Ocean.

In the 4 and 8 hours experiences you can choose to add a barbecue service on board and enjoy the bathing and snorkeling while the crew takes care of the lunch. Add barbeque and drinks for 12€ per person, including: cheese and chorizo starters; bread and grilled meats, salad, sticks carrot; chocolate cake and pineapple. Drinks: waters, juices, beer and wine.
