Welcome to Casa d´Alegria, an apartment located in the heart of Lisbon, where everything happens, at a walking distance from all the main places to visit in Lisbon’s downtown! It features 7 rooms, 3 bathrooms, dining and living room and little French balcony. It’s on the ground floor (equivalent to the 1st floor) of a building with no Elevator. It has free Wi-Fi, and a full equipped kitchen. Towels and bed sheets are provided. All the beds have excellent mattresses.

It´s a perfect location to enjoy the daylife and the nightlife of the city! Forget taxis... you can walk everywhere! :)

We aim to offer the most inviting accommodation in Lisbon. We want you to feel at home in a very easy-going atmosphere, like staying at a friend’s place with a great apartment in Lisbon. The apartment is full of light, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday or an extended stay.

With 200m2, it’s on the ground floor of a very charming building from the beginning of the XIX century, with original ceiling stucco, fine old wooden floors and with a breath-taking view of the Lisbon’s hills and Castle.
It’s perfect for families and groups of friends travelling together. Casa d´Alegria has a total of 7 spacious rooms and it can fit up to 22 people.
It has one living and dining-room with the City Castle giving a fantastic light to your nights, 3 fully equipped bathrooms and a new fully equipped kitchen. All the rooms have large windows, with plenty of sunlight and all are equipped with excellent quality mattresses.

This apartment is totally prepared to receive from 1 to 22 people:

Room #1: 1 double bed + 2 single bed underneath the double bed (up to 4pax)
Room #2: 1 double bed + (optional) 1 air single bed (up to 3pax)
Room #3: 1 double bed + 1 single bed underneath (up to 3 pax)
Room #4: 1 double bed (2pax)
Room #5: 1 single bed + 1 single bed underneath (up to 2pax)
Room#6: 1 single bed + 1 single bed underneath. (up to 2pax)
Room#7: 1 double bunk bed + 1 double sofa-bed (up to 4pax)
Living room: 1 sofa-bed for 1 and the option of 1 more air single bed (up to 2pax)

Note: The apartment is only prepared for the number of people selected on the reservation. Top beds are prepared first, followed by pull-out beds. Also, double beds are prepared considering 2 people.
Access:
The apartment is at 500m from the “Avenida” subway station or 800m from “Chiado’s” station, The apartment is also served by buses and you can walk to the railway or boat stations that can take you to the beaches around Lisbon, or to other nice places such as Belem, Sintra or Cascais.
The Neighborhood
The Jardim do Príncipe Real, officially designated Jardim França Borges , is a garden located in Lisbon, located near the Bairro Alto, this romantic garden, was built in the middle of the century. XIX. As a point to be pointed out, there is a Cedro-do-Buçaco (Cupressus lusitanica), more than 20 meters in diameter, which is one of the trees that is classified as being of public interest in this place, and the subterranean water reservoir Of the Patriarchal. The weekly organic produce market held on Saturdays is one of the many events held here.

You will be in of one of the most famous places to visit in Lisbon! You'll be:

-just a few steps walking from the beautiful Principe Real garden, where you can enjoy relaxing moments taking a Portuguese coffee (email hidden),
-2 minutes walking from Bairro Alto (the most famous neighborhood full of night life in the city with hundreds of bars, restaurants and trendy shops),
-5 minutes walking from one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the city – Miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara,
-you can also walk to Chiado, Avenida da Liberdade and Rossio
-5 minute walk to several convenience stores which sell all the basics you might need (including fruits and vegetables), open until midnight,
-10 minute walk to a supermarket,
-10 minutes from metro to Alfama, (or 30 minutes walking), where you got the most typical restaurants in the city and where you can hear the famous Fado singers while you eat delicious Portuguese food.
You can also walk (10 minutes) to one of the 28th tram stops!! And guess what: you'll be around 15 minutes walking from the railway or boat station, so you can easily go to Belém, Cascais, Estoril, Sintra and to the beaches around Lisbon...

Apartment Rules

1. This apartment is located in a historical and residential building. Neighbours that live in this building are very sensible to noise, special after 10:00 pm. Is totally forbidden to make noise after 10:00 pm, parties are not allowed and noise in the stairs must be controlled. Definitely if you are looking for an apartment where you can make noise until late this is not an option. Fines will be applied (losing deposit) for those you don’t act in conformity with this rules.
2. It’s not allowed to host more guests than the ones agreed with the owner. The control is done by a security camera installed at the entrance of the apartment.
3. Smoking it’s not allowed.
4. At the end of your stay the apartment must be left in the conditions you found it, you don’t need to clean it but the garbage must be left on the garbage bin outside the building, dishes must be clean or inside the dishwashing machine,
